Our API units have been inspected by the USFDA and hold key regulatory approvals from EU GMP, Japanese AFM, Korean FDA, State GMP, DSIR (India), ANVISA (Brazil), and EU regulatory authority (Bavaria, Germany).

Every Stage

Microbiological Laboratory 

Concord Biotech has a modern microbiology lab with skilled microbiologists following strict guidelines. The lab handles microorganisms, supplies inoculum to the plant, and performs quality checks. It meets biosafety level 2 standards and follows international safety protocols. 

Fermentation  

Our API facility has multiple fermentation blocks with fermenters ranging from 5 m³ to 30 m³, totaling over 1250 m³ in capacity. These are supported by seed fermenters and dosing vessels. Inoculum preparation is handled by a dedicated facility, and the entire process is monitored by an automated control system, overseen by microbiologists, biochemical engineers, and chemists.

Downstream Recovery  

Our downstream recovery facilities support our fermentation processes. We have multiple recovery blocks for various products like immunosuppressants, oncology, anti-infectives, antifungals, and enzymes. Key equipment includes whole broth extractors, various filtration systems, high-pressure homogenizers, chromatography columns, commercial-scale preparative-HPLC, an oncology facility with isolators, hydrogenation units, a lyophilization block, SS-316 and GLR reactors, and different drying equipment like RCVD, vacuum tray dryers, and fluid bed processors.

Powder Processing Area  

Our powder processing area is equipped with air handling systems that meet Class 100,000 standards. Key equipment includes HVAC systems, crystallizers, micronizers for milling and sieving, and various drying equipment such as RCVD, VTD, FBD, and freeze drying units.
